Among the new initiatives outlined here are: – a renewed emphasis on creating and enforcing very high level “consumer agreements” with the legal team responsible for preventing fraud, discrimination and other forms of illegal access to personal information resulting from the Privacy Act. – Directing high data security and integrity and transparency into the Credentists’ Canadian Credentials via a Request for Participation (“CROP”). – Building on the established principles of Privacy Commissioner under the Digital Information Privacy Act and implementing those new agreements to establish standards related to data protection and security in all international applications of the authority established under the Communications Privacy Act. – Increasing the number of small business owners, and individuals, whose data can be seized and de-identified based on their access to commercial information by one department or city-level law enforcement following investigations or internal reviews. – Increasing the inclusion of Canada’s privacy commissioner for his, or her, co-ordination with the Director of the Canadian National Security Agency whose mandate includes consultations with stakeholders and critical stakeholders on some of those topics.
